Basque steamboat Irurac-Bat crashes against
English ship Douro. Both of them sank and the English officers
die drown.

English ship Norkstone collides with
Galician fishing boat Venus, in result of which the Venus
sank and 2 sailors died.
1917
German submarines based on the Galician coast
during the I World War sank the portuguese ship Maria Alice,
the Norwegian Caracas and Balduvin, and the English
California, in which 4 people died. On next year the German
torpedoes sank the French ship Megalle.

February 1938
German cargo boat Madeleine Reig collides
with Galician boat Ocho Hermanos near Nemina. In May 1957
the Madeleine Reig shipwrecked in the Farelo reefs, in front
of Cape Tourinan.
1943
Escaping of the Allies air force, the German
tanker Nord Atlantic shipwrecks when trying to shelter in
Camarinas' creek. All
its oil got spread along the coast.

Portuguese ship Ilha Madeira shipwrecks
in O Farelo reefs but succeeds reaching Nemina beach, where the
crew could get safe down to the sand.
